Earlier today the news broke that George Zimmerman, the man accused of fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, agreed to do his first interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News.
The interview was taped earlier in the day today at an undisclosed location, and according to reports, in the interview, Zimmerman apologizes to the parents of Trayvon for killing their son. It will air on Fox News at 9PM EST.
Here is a preview:
Hannity: "This is your first interview, what would you like to tell them [#TrayvonMartin's parents]"Zimmerman: "I would tell them that again I'm sorry. I don't have, my wife and I don't have any children. I have nephews that I love more than life. I love them more than myself. And I know when they were born it was a different, unique bond and love that I have with them, and I love my children even though they aren't born yet. And I am sorry that they buried their child. I can't imagine what it must feel like and I pray for them daily."
This is the first public interview that Zimmerman has granted since the February shooting.
Fox News is holding tight to their statement that claims there was “no payment whatsoever in securing this interview."
